Researchers in image processing engineering are currently designing devices to identify tumors and process diagnostic images. Medical image segmentation is used to identify tumors which is an effective method. The goal of this project is to identify brain tumors from MRI images using the GUI framework. Using the interface, we use mathematical simulation modeling software will help us to use in several combinations of segmentation, filterations and other image processing algorithms to produce an exciting result. In this work, we utilize by the method of filtering the image using the Prewitt horizontal edge-strengthening filter. Followed with the tumor identification method known as "watershed pixels" for various developments of the images.
