Precision Method for Pest Detection in Plants using the Clustering Algorithm in Image Processing









Abstract

Agriculture is the primary source of income for almost 9.87 million people in India. More productivity in crops leads to secure lives. The production rate of crops in agriculture is based on different parameters like temperature, moisture in the atmosphere, availability of water resources, and so forth., which are natural factors and out of human control. Identification of plant diseases before any loss will be the crucial factor in increasing productivity. Health monitoring and disease detection on a plant is exceptionally imperative for manageable farming. It is tortuous to monitor plant infections physically. It requires a great deal of work, skill in knowing the plant diseases, and furthermore requires a lot of preparation time. Image processing can help in taking care of this issue. Disease detection involves steps like image acquisition, image pre-processing, image segmentation. This paper talks about the techniques utilized for the recognition of plant diseases utilizing their leaves pictures.
