Design of a Smart Independent Smoke Sense System Based on NB-IoT Technology









Abstract

Smoke alarm system is an important means to reduce indoor fire and protect property. The two existing smoke alarm systems have the disadvantages of high layout cost, difficult to perceive working state, low data accuracy and difficult to unify and effectively manage. In view of the existing problems, a NB-IoT (narrow band Internet of things) technology based independent smoke, temperature and humidity sensing alarm system is proposed. The system has the advantages of low cost, ultra-low power consumption, equipment damage alarm, electric quantity alarm, multi-party alarm and unified deployment management. The data of temperature, humidity and smoke can be referred to each other for staff to have a clearer judgment of the fire scene and then make correct decisions. After testing, the system can work on standby for about 5 years, and it can achieve good warning effect for various small places and has good use value.
