VEHICLE MONITORING AND IGNITION CONTROL SYSTEM USING IOT









Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) involves connecting physical objects to the Internet to build smart systems and universal mobile accessibility advanced technologies like Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). IoT in the automotive field refers to the integration of components such as sensors, gadgets, clouds, and apps into vehicles & their use as a complex system for predictive maintenance, the connection of cars, etc. In our project, we use multiple sensors for collecting and sending information to the cloud using IoT, which can be accessed by multiple users. Some of the details collected by IoT are the location of the vehicle and fuel level etc. These can be used for monitoring the various functions of vehicles from different places. In this project, we also added some safety and precautionary measures such as brake failure mechanism, ignition control, etc. This system itself forms an eco-system comprising sensor systems, monitoring systems, and display systems.
