IOT BASED SYSTEM FOR DETECTING AND MONITORING AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENTS









Abstract

Many terrible repercussions have resulted from the failure to respond quickly to an automobile emergency. Several information studies have been conducted; security have been conducted in order to lessen the time delay. However, unresolved issues like emergency vehicle avoidance authentication have yet to be resolved. In this study, we suggest a Zigbee-based emergency protocol that talks with nearby devices to relay signals to a nearby emergency station, reducing the emergency vehicle's wait. The condition of the vehicle and the nature of accident or breakdown are monitored and this information are managed by IoT, by which the required steps can be initiated by the emergency team accordingly. Through Zigbee transmitter from the vehicle (Breakdown vehicle) transmits the signal continuously to the nearby or crossing vehicle and the crossing vehicle receives it and transmits to the nearby Road Side Assistance unit or the Emergency unit about the status and location of the vehicle and can rescue them
