MELANOMA AND BENIGN CANCER DETECTION USING CONVOLUTION NEURAL NETWORK









Abstract

Melanoma and benign cancer is a serious problem and it must be addressed as soon as feasible. The importance of early skin cancer diagnosis has increased as a result of melanoma and benign skin cancer's rapid growth rate, high treatment expenses, and high mortality rate. The understanding of convolutional neural networks was classified in this research paper. This paper is use to propose a melanoma and benign skin cancer detection system using image processing and machine learning method. After segmenting the dermoscopic pictures using the feature extraction approach, the characteristics of the affected skin cells are retrieved. An approach based on deep learning the extracted features are identified using a convolutional neural network classifier.
