IOT BASED ORGANIC WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract

With the increase in population the level of garbage is also increasing which leads to environmental pollution and illness. Though prime minister Dr. Narendra Modi has established several acts such as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Clean India Mission to make India a clean country, still it is a big challenge for the government to maintain hygiene in cities. Every year India generates about 620 lakh tonnes of waste. Daily disposal of organic waste is 25 times more harmful than the carbon dioxide which produces methane gas that traps the heat in the atmosphere. On the other hand, the farmers are the most important in everyone’s life. In recent years, there are a lot of issues faced by the farmers. Nowadays, farmers prefer to use artificial fertilizer instead of organic manure due to high demand and the wastage sometimes acts as cattle fodder. The IoT-based organic waste management system is used to encourage the usage of organic manure from market waste by recycling and to reduce the disposal of waste in day-to-day life.
