In recent times, self-driving is a topic of interest for Artificial Intelligence and the Automobile industry. By using deep learning algorithm, it is worthy to detect speed bumps and potholes. In this paper, a method is introduced which is using Single Shot Multi Box Detector to detect speed bumps and this method is compared with the other already performed methods. In addition, the development of detection of speed bumps and pot holes in the field of deep learning is discussed. This research work can also help the government across the globe to maintain the standard of speed bumps which will ultimately benefit the people. In this paper we have shown our approach of building a generalized learning model for pot hole detection i.e. using Single Shot Multi Box Detector Algorithm.
