IMPLEMENTATION OF SIGN LANGUAGE RECOGNITION USING ANDROID









Abstract

Dactylology is the method of communication of auditorily impaired and imbecilic people all over the world. However, it has always been arduous to communicate between a verbally impaired person and a mundane person. Dactylology Apperception is a breakthrough for availing auditorily impaired-mute people to communicate with others. The commercialization of an economical and precise apperception system is today’s concern of researchers all over the world. Thus, dactylology apperception systems predicated on Image processing and neural networks are preferred over contrivance systems as they are more precise and more facile to make. The aim of this paper is to build a utilizer convivial and precise dactylology apperception system trained by a neural network thereby engendering text and verbalization of the input gesture.
