Blockchain-Based Trading and Settlement Framework for Electricity Markets









Abstract

Due to the complexity of interaction between market players, the diversity of security risks, and the credibility of the market operation effect, the electricity market faces many challenges. In order to build a fair, efficient, and credible electricity market, this paper proposes a trading and settlement framework for electricity markets based on blockchain technologies. In detail, technologies supporting the framework are deeply analyzed including market optimization design, risk comprehensive evaluation, and joint control simulation. Finally, implementation suggestions are proposed to improve the advantages of ensuring transaction security and reducing transaction costs.
