FACE RECOGNITION BASED INTELLIGENT CAR ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM USING RASPBERRY PI









Abstract

Today there is an critical problem for the car owners that they are in constant fear of thieves that their car will stolen from the off-street parking or parking area near their house. Image processing based real time vehicle theft detection and prevention system supplies an closure for this problem .In this a affordable cost and extendable framework for smart car security system is proposed, that contains a FDS i.e.(face detection subsystem) which has a control platform. This system describes automatically captures photos of drives and then compares his or her faces with the database for checking whether he or she is an valid driver or not. This system is based on Haar Cascade which helps to detect the faces in car. In this system the other components exchange the required information to user and helps us to keep eye on our cars constantly. has prototype which has run Raspberry pi, which controls all the process of the system.
